ReplyDeleteSuper! I want to try everything!!
ReplyDeleteYour blog often reminds me of when I lived in a small town in Colorado, many years ago. The VFD fundraiser was a cookbook, full of favorite recipes from dozens of townfolk, and it seemed like I knew most of the people by their recipes.
ReplyDeleteEven though I now love in an even smaller town, here I don't have that same sense of individuals attached to special recipes. But I DO have that feeling when I read your blog, and I really, really love it. Thank you so much. I wish we were neighbors, but blogs create a sort of neighborhood, don't they?
I hope this makes sense...mostly, I just want to thank you for sharing :)
Thank you for your kind comments - we like to think of our readers as part of our community and we're glad you feel that way too.
DeleteWonderful post. Your food photos are fabulous. A blessed advent to you all. Angharad
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Just recently I was thinking that it would be nice if MGCC would put together a menu link. I really like planning menus. I plan them most weeks. It makes for much more efficient grocery shopping. Unfortunatley, I do not plan my time well to prepare all the things on my holiday menus. I will keep trying.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful post!!! I will be back many times to look through each and every recipe, what fun!! Every year I THINK I know what I'm going to serve, but I'm searching for recipes like these right up to the week before Christmas, so this is just wonderful!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your thoughtful and timely post. It's wonderful! Everything looks delicious. I love cookie exchanges and especially appreciate the variety of those recipes. I'm so glad I found your blog a few days ago and am already a regular reader. Thank you, ladies, and Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of the wonderful recipes, Ladies...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to begin the busy month of December.
What a fabulous post! It is a gift really, with all these great recipes. I need to spend some time going through this. I don't host Christmas or New Year's, I am invited to other's homes, but I always make desserts. Found some new cookie and jello salad ideas here. Thanks again. xo
