We are celebrating Thanksgiving in Canada today...
enjoying turkey with stuffing and serving pumpkin pie for dessert.
Rather than posting a recipe here today...
I will leave you with a little food for thought!

but how much we enjoy...
that makes happiness.

of which every man has plenty;
not on your past misfortunes of which all men have some.

to set in the hearts of honest men;
but be

ReplyDeleteMy late Husband's family was also from Russia only they were German. Part of the homesteaders brought to Russia by Catherine the Great (so I am told) They came to the US in the very late 1800s. Interesting history---oh my FNL was Mennonite too.
