Giving Thanks

We are celebrating Thanksgiving in Canada today...
enjoying turkey with stuffing and serving pumpkin pie for dessert.
Rather than posting a recipe here today...
I will leave you with a little food for thought!

My late Husband's family was also from Russia only they were German. Part of the homesteaders brought to Russia by Catherine the Great (so I am told) They came to the US in the very late 1800s. Interesting history---oh my FNL was Mennonite too.

  12. Well I'm a day late, but Happy Thanksgiving! Sounds like you enjoyed your day and I love the gratitude quotes. I have been trying to think of something I'm grateful for every night. I'm not grateful for being forgetful, because I forgot I was doing that until I saw this post! I'm grateful for the reminder though!!!
