My mother would do this. I just love it. If you are not a fan of vegetables just put fried bread crumbs on them! She would also fry sour cream. Has anyone else heard of this?
ReplyDeleteHealthy and yummy ♥
ReplyDeleteOh how delicious! My mom almost always put browned butter on her vegetables, which we do here too, but the addition of bread crumbs would be wonderful! A friend of mine spent some time in England and experienced veggies with "minted butter" on them - which is also delicious. I like to add melted butter and a squirt of lemon to my broccoli and asparagus.
ReplyDeleteLove buttered bread crumbs on veggies! My Mom used to do this all the time and also on Spaetzle - yum!!!!
ReplyDeleteGracious, this sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteSounds good. I have topped my mac and cheese with this.
