Pineapple Orange Banana Punch

This punch has been a classic favorite of ours at any kind of party or celebration.
It's always received with a big smile . . . summer or winter.
Ingredients:

  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 1 liter pineapple juice
  • 1 can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 liters club soda or ginger ale

 Method:
  1. Mix crushed pineapple and bananas in blender
  2. Pour into extra large ice cream pail.
  3. Add pineapple juice, OJ and 5 cups water.
  4. Freeze.
  5. Take out of freezer in the morning of the day you want to serve the punch… monitoring the thawing process so that you can stir the frozen slush. This will take at least five hours.
  6. Refrigerate until time to serve. Pour into punch bowl and add club soda or ginger ale just before serving. (ginger ale for a little sweetness, club soda for less sweetness)

    1. I'm sorry we take for granted that everyone has access to the same groceries. In Canada and US we purchase frozen concentrate juice in about 300 ml containers. It makes just over a litre of juice. If you would be using pure orange juice, you would omit the water in the recipe.

  8. This is wonderful punch. We have a very similar recipe called "Graduation Punch" that the parents/volunteers make every year for the kids' high school graduation. It's been a tradition forever.

  9. I have been using plenty of ideas for celebrating the baby shower of my sister in law, and luckily I found a web resource that explains how to have a Fairy Tale Themed Baby Shower, so I bookmarked its link on my computer so that I may use it further.
