This hymn was inspired by the verses in Hebrews 6:19-20.

"This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever..."

    Thank you for sharing.... might I ask where the picture of the anchor is from? I'm so sure that I have a picture of that same anchor from my Navy days in San Diego, California. Mine has a seagull sitting on it though. I took mine in 1975. lol... funny how things come back to you.
