It doesn't get much simpler than this! This punch is always a hit...and pretty-as-a-picture as well. Somehow it stirs up memories of warm summer days and refreshing orange floats of yesteryear...but it is perfect served at showers and parties any season of the year.
- 2 L Sprite
- 1 L orange sherbet, slightly softened
- Pour sprite into large punch bowl.
- Add scoops of sherbet.
- Stir gently to produce foam.
Doesn't it need a half liter of cream? =D
ReplyDeleteVee...there actually is a version of this punch that calls for 1 pint vanilla ice-cream and 1 pint orange sherbet. Oh, and it is called Orange Creamsicle Punch. I can't use that name since I skipped the 'cream' portion. This is quite a light and foamy punch...not creamy.
DeleteThis was always a favorite in our house for baby or wedding showers. For a change in flavors, we used lime sherbet with ginger ale.
ReplyDeleteI've had this stuff. I love it! It's addictive! Lol
ReplyDeleteWe use lime sherbet or raspberry sherbet for a Christmas Eve tradition. I must try your version - it sounds delicious too!
ReplyDeleteWe mixed lime and raspberry sherbet for our Mexican themed Easter dinner....delicious!!
ReplyDeleteThis punch is really perfect for the warm weather. It somehow helps us to re-energize our body and hydrate it. It's really good!
