Shrimp Feta Pizza

A local restaurant makes this very tasty luncheon pizza. I've come up with this version to make at home.

For each individual pizza you will need:

  • 1 - 6 inch pita bread
  • 1-2 tablespoons prepared Pesto Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup small shrimp
  • about 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese.
  1. Spread pesto sauce over surface of each pita bread.
  2. Sprinkle red pepper and shrimp over pesto.
  3. Crumble feta cheese over the top.
  4. Bake at 350ยบ until hot and cheese begins to melt - about 10 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with a few shrimp and a little more feta and serve.

  1. That's a yummy pizza and quick and easy to make too.

  2. I like the ide of using pita bread for a quick pizza and you come up with exotic recipes, Bev! You will get me to love shrimp yet. I loved the appetizers you made.

  3. Yummmmy! I make one on pita that I copied off of a local restaurant as well. It has artichoke, feta, sundried tomato, etc on it..with a chipotle base.

  4. This looks amazing! Can't wait to try it! :)

    God bless,

  5. What a neat little pizza idea.....we love shrimp and feta so I will have to try these.

  6. I know of what you speak! It's one of my favourites! It is so tasty with the perfect combo of flavours.

  7. I love all these toppings. Our boys used to make pita pizzas every Saturday for lunch ..these look fantastic.

  8. Do you use raw or pre-cooked shrimp for this recipes. Thanks!

  9. I use cooked shrimp but you will want to watch that you don't over bake the pizza.

  10. I just found your site yesterday, looking for a recipe for shrimp and feta pizza....had these very large, fresh gulf shrimp (I'm in South Texas) and made the pizza. It was terrific. And I'm so glad I found your site, can't wait to see all the postings. Thanks for the time you each put in :)

  11. It was very, very good, especially with our fresh Gulf shrimp. Thanks, Sharron
