I got this simple punch recipe from a caterer many years ago and it became my favorite Christmas punch over the years. It's quick to make, a sparkling punch with just a hint of green, and looks lovely with frozen cranberries floating in the bowl. And here's a plus...if the punch is spilled and dripped on floors and furniture, no stains!
- 1 can Welch's frozen white grape juice
- 1 can Minute Maid frozen limeade
- 1 - 2L Sprite
- Mix frozen juices according to directions on the can (add 7 cans water).
- Add Sprite to taste.
- Serve in punch bowl, adding ice cubes and frozen cranberries.
* Not all stores carry the frozen white grape concentrate but I buy it locally at Save-on Foods.
I might have to try this rather than the "Make it up as you go" that Mom likes to do on Christmas day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful punch! I would like to try having something like this instead of ugly soda bottles all over the place.
ReplyDeleteNow, that is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe...

This sounds wonderful Judy - a different and refreshing flavour change from the regular "red" punches.
ReplyDeleteOh I should try this. I am also kinda sick of red punch stuff. This looks beautiful with all the cranberries floating in it.
ReplyDeleteWAW ! DELICIOS !
ReplyDeleteWAW ! DELICIOS !
ReplyDeleteThat looks so pretty and festive and sounds so tasty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful punch and bowl!
ReplyDeleteDo you know the conversions if you use just regular white grape juice (not the frozen concentrate)? I couldn't find any & had to pick up just a jug of white grape juice. I didn't think that purple punch would go well with Christmas or the traditionalists in the family - green would work!
ReplyDeleteWe served this up yesterday and there was nothing left in short order. Everyone loved it! Light and delicious...not too sweet, not too tart...perfect and pretty, too.
ReplyDeleteThis was delicious!! I had this out for Christmas Eve - along with Charlotte's Honey Garlic wings and Anneliese's Apricot Glazed meatballs!
ReplyDeleteThis blog and soon to be printed cookbook is THE best!
Thanks!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
