Build yourself up in your most holy faith.
Jude v. 20
Sunday morning is a banquet...
I attend the church worship service and am fed.
What about the other days six days of the week?
Pastor Ron won't prepare a banquet for me every day.
I am responsible for feeding myself...
and I need to be reminded of that often.
Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good thought for sure.

It looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI discovered your blog yesterday and love it. I read for over an hour until I had to get busy and do a little cooking around here.
Take Care,
Debbie
What a good reminder that we all need to 'tend our tables' and not just depend on others to do so!

yes..being fed on Sunday morning services is just great...food is nover overcooked, undercooked, or burnt...just good old fashioned good!!! LOL...I was thinking today as I was making potato salad..that many folks are always looking for "shortcuts" when cooking...as for me...I like taking my time...it gives me a time to think of those not so fortunate as we and our family are!!! time to pray...and time to praise!!! God Bless...hugs...Ora in KY

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thought to carry us through the week.

Very good thought! We can't grow if we continually are happy just to be hand-fed and not work out our own salvation (with fear and trembling) It also reminds me of a sign I saw while traveling home: "Is your Monday walk the same as your Sunday talk".
