Bread for the Journey

Today we are praising God because it is from him from whom all blessings flow.
I first remember singing this hymn of praise before eating at family gatherings.
The simple words of praise, sung prayerfully, in four part harmony is part of our heritage.

Tonight, fresh Zweibach, and butter, cheese, sliced cold meat and pickles followed by platz will be our evening meal.
With our husbands by our sides we'll be singing this hymn of praise before we break bread together.  It's been a most wonderful weekend and we praise God for being with us as we celebrated our new book.

We'll never know all the homes that hold our labor of love but God knows and we pray that each home will be blessed with peace that comes from our Heavenly Father.

  1. Isn't it wonderful that something written in the 1500's is still soooo very relevant today. Praise God from whom all blessings flow and Great is Thy Faithfulness are our families favourites too. Lucy
