I don't have any pears, or pear sauce, but I have nearly 100 jars (or more) of applesauce.....wonder how that would work?!?!
ReplyDeleteShari..applesauce would work, you would then have apple bread:)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so good, I love the pear addition
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like what I need to make with the last few pears I have left.I throw a handful of cracked wheat I have soaked in hot water in my quick breads or some oats to add extra nutrition.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use pears over apples. I wonder if you can get away with using peaches too?
ReplyDeleteHow yummy...I have never had pear bread...looks tasty. Kathy
ReplyDeleteJenn @ Cooking Aweigh The Pounds..I'm thinking peaches would be very good in this recipe. I may just have to try that.
ReplyDeleteYum. This looks really good!
ReplyDeleteNew Bothwell cheese??? ;)
ReplyDeleteKaila..is there any other?? :)
ReplyDeleteYUM! My dad makes and gives away Comice pear sauce for Christmas every year, this might be a worthy use for it...
ReplyDeleteI sent this to my daughter who has a child that cannot eat apples but pears are allowed in their diet!
ReplyDeleteBetty, you know I love a terrific quick bread; I am adding this to my stash of your recipes that I've collected and must make. Ooooh, this looks so good!!
