Bread For the Journey

1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (English Standard Version)
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

  1. Amen. I think it is so wonderful to read your Bread for the Journey each Sunday. How amazing that God has used the internet for good to connect Christian women around the earth, letting them know they are not alone in the struggles of life or in their faith and joy in our Creator. Thank you.

After church services, it's nice to come home and find a little more community in the wide-wide world.
