Orange Julius Drink

Who couldn't use a refreshing treat on a hot summer's day.
The taste reminds me of a creamsicle.
  • 1/2 a can of frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar (I half the sugar)
  • 10-15 ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender and blend together until ice is crushed and smooth.

  1. oh I used to have this recipe but it got lost. . if the sun comes out this weekend I whip some up.

  2. The minute you said creamsicle I was all ears! I love them and so will try this drink for sure.

  3. This is great! I got the recipe from my pre-natal teacher, so it's been tested and proven over and over again. In fact, it has become a Christmas Eve drink at our house because no one wants egg nog and it still looks like it. I replace the sugar with ice cream and add a ripe banana if it's on hand.

  4. I just made this a couple of days ago! And I half the sugar as well. Very refreshing.

  5. Yummy, that looks just like the perfect drink.
It's supposed to be hot this next week. Guess what we'll all be trying.

  6. anneliese, i add a banana too sometimes, but i will have try the ice cream sometime, haven't done that....sounds good

  7. are you serious? This is all it takes? Wow.....I am going to try it this very afternoon.

  8. I've been using fresh orange juice and French Vanilla coffee creamer to make my version. Yours sounds healthier..
