But...they say watermelon seeds are edible and full of good stuff! Around 35% of watermelon seed is protein...plus fiber and minerals like magnesium, calcium, potassium, iron, phosphorous and zinc, etc. I don’t know if the little white seeds in the ‘seedless’ watermelon count. I hope so! We had both a seedless watermelon and an old-fashioned seeded one this week...and both were great. They say they're seedless but they are filled with little white seeds that are a pain to pick out (the old black ones were bigger and easier to grab onto to). Where do you buy your watermelons?
