Also, does it have to be chocolate icing? Could you use some other flavouring and colouring and just add more potato/ icing sugar? Or do you need the cocoa to "mask" the potato flavour?Heather, Rick, and Tendai!https://www.blogger.com/profile/08772768024606199784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454531829676162260.post-8681872828803322482013-09-28T12:13:42.261-07:002013-09-28T12:13:42.261-07:00I can so see thing working and tasting delicious! ...I can so see thing working and tasting delicious! My mom used to make peppermint balls - similar to peppermint patties - and it used a boiled potato, icing sugar and mint extract - roll it into balls and roll in unsweetened chocolate and coconut. Sounds strange, but SO yummy!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454531829676162260.post-54552150779771133842013-09-27T14:12:55.176-07:002013-09-27T14:12:55.176-07:00OK, this is absolutely hilarious! I was totally skeptical when he told me about them, but we made them - with mashed potatoes and coconut as main ingredients. And then bottoms are dipped in melted chocolate. They are good, so I'm sure this icing would be very good too!!!
