When a recipe calls for "Buttermilk&q...Lisette<br />When a recipe calls for "Buttermilk" and I don't have any at home, I will add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice or white vinegar into the measuring cup and then fill with regular milk. Let it stand for about 10 minutes and it is good to use as a replacement for Buttermilk in most recipes. <br />Now for the question about freezing it, I my self have not tried it, but would measure out the amount needed for a particular recipe and freeze it in that amount.
