They sell straight off the farm, but also retail to health/deli specialty shops including local farmers markets. Most of these places should be able to assist you with your search of unground wheat.
http://anitasorganic.com/
Check on line with your local town or city.
You can see the costs of a wheat grinder at this sight. The Magic Mill is discontinued, and they suggest the K-Tec Kitchen Mill.
http://www.nutritionlifestyles.com/grainmillsummary.htm
I hope this has been helpful.Marghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02261487673136315268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454531829676162260.post-47155988592876539402011-09-21T10:29:21.223-07:002011-09-21T10:29:21.223-07:00any tips for city girls on where to either get ...any tips for city girls on where to either get 'real' fresh-ground whole wheat, or to get unground (and also how to grind)?Eric Jordan or Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13306258840529708109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454531829676162260.post-63818068373260631472011-09-16T00:15:49.100-07:002011-09-16T00:15:49.100-07:00Looks promising, am going to give this a try. Have you ever heard of soaking your freshly ground flour before using it? I have done research and feel it is worth the extra effort - might be something you want to check out!
