It was delicious! Love the use of nutmeg in the recipe too. <br />Thanks again for another truly scrumptious pie!Leannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454531829676162260.post-52741898226391784592012-05-12T07:47:07.193-07:002012-05-12T07:47:07.193-07:00I think the Tenderflake recipe is 1lb. of lard, 5 ...I think the Tenderflake recipe is 1lb. of lard, 5 1/2 c. of flour with 1/2 tsp. salt blended. Once these three are mixed to a consistency of small pea-sized pieces, in a liquid measure mix 1 egg, 1 tbsp. vinegar, 1 tbsp br. sugar and fill to 3/4 cup. Stir this into the dough. Voila! Makes lots of dough - six or more crusts, depending how you roll it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454531829676162260.post-8378827729774395292010-05-15T18:40:13.313-07:002010-05-15T18:40:13.313-07:00this is on my list, I love rhubarb pie! thanks so ...this is on my list, I love rhubarb pie! thanks so much.Melynda@Scratch Made Food!https://www.blogger.com/profile/17924210552692980145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454531829676162260.post-75579761335086289162010-05-15T08:17:47.700-07:002010-05-15T08:17:47.700-07:00That looks pretty darn good

I have never used sugar in the raw for meringue, but I love it for other things. When you get the hang of it with white, you can also use brown sugar...but start with the fine white sugar.
