Th water will cook.with the tea and spices and make the base. <br /><br />We make our own cider...I have it frozen in gallon cartons for drinking as is when thawed and canned in half gallon jars which I use for hot cider. I am used to just using the half gallon as the base and adding sliced oranges and lemons and spices right to it in the crock pot.<br /><br />I will definitely try this . Maybe I should of referred to it as a hot spiced tea instead.
