A Dip for Fruit
This dip has been around for years. I don't know where it originated. There are only 2 ingredients. It is a delicious dip for strawberries or other fresh fruit.
1 - 8 oz. bar of cream cheese
1 - 7 oz. jar of marshmallow cream
Beat the cream cheese till fluffy. Add 1 jar of marshmallow cream and mix well. Serve with fresh fruit.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............I can taste it now!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother hint....I replace the bar of plain cream cheese with a 1 round tub of the strawberry creamable cream cheese spread. This not only gives it a great extra flavour as well but as it's softer, it mixes better. A big hit in our family.
ReplyDeleteI think I have also heard of adding a little orange marmalade to this dip as well.
ReplyDeleteI love this dip..Some times I might add a dash of Cinnamon or a splash of Orange Juice.
ReplyDeleteI've made this dip a few times and it's always a hit! Instead of the bar of cream cheese I do a tub of cream cheese spread...it mixes a little easier. I also add 2 tsp of whatever flavour Jell-o powder I have on hand!
ReplyDeleteI always add a few drops of almond flavouring. Yum!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite fruit dips of all time. A classic :)
ReplyDeleteI remember --- I haven't had this for years, but it was VERY good! I think it is time to try it again!
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot about this dip, might need to make some!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I made this dip right away for my MOPS (Mothers Of PreSchoolers) leaders meeting. Yum yum!
