Baked Dip for Crackers

This is a quick and easy dip to make, you can dip or spread it on crackers. We enjoyed it while still hot but I'm sure it would be good served cold too.

1/2 cup finely grated raw carrots
1/2 cup finely grated celery
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
couple dashes hot sauce..or you could add diced jalepeno...you pick the heat you want or omit entirely.

Mix together and put it in a small greased ovenproof dish.
Bake at 375ยบ for approx 20 to 25 min or until it's bubbly and slightly browned.
Spread on crackers and enjoy.

  1. Can grated leek or turnip or parsnip or other root veggies be substituted for the celery that my husband despises?

  12. I made this recipe tonight to carry to girls' night out of card games. I did not have the parmesan cheese so I used the feta cheese that I had. It was delicious and a big hit.

  14. Anonymous..It's hard to tell how many servings this makes as I have served it along with other appetizers. I can give you the measurements of the dish, it is 5" by 5" and 2 1/2" deep. It was a little over half full. Hope that helps.
