Rocky Road Bars

My posts are few and far between....so are my moments of kitchen creativity as of late.

Here is a delicious, tried-and-true treat for kids of all ages!

(credit to Baker's Best Chocolate Cookbook)

1 1/2 cup graham crumbs

1/2 cup melted butter or margarine

1 1/2 cup flaked coconut

1 1/2 cup chopped nuts (I omit for my fussy son)

1 pkg (300g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

1 can (300mL) sweetened condensed milk

3 squares semi-sweet chocolate, melted

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees

2. Combine crumbs and butter. Press into 13x9 inch pan. Layer coconut, nuts, chocolate chips and marshmallows evenly over crumbs. Drizzle condensed milk evenly over the top.

3. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, drizzle with melted chocolate; cool.
