Quick Garlic Spread

First off start making french bread, already posted... a bought one will do if you lack the time, but the homemade is worth the effort.
Then use this recipe for the ultimate garlic spread, it is quick and simple, you will never buy one again.
Quick Garlic Spread
3/4 c. butter
1/4 c. mayonaise (don't use Miracle Whip it is too sweet)
I often use 1/2 butter 1/2 mayo
1/2 grated parmessan cheese
4 cloves garlic minced
3 tbsp. freshly chopped parsely
One large french bread loaf cut lengthwise, spread liberally on cut side and broi til brown and bubbly. Or wrap in foil and bake at 375 for 20 min. We like ours broiled. Enjoy!

  3. yes you can store this for a few days in the fridge, but i wouldn't store it too long. besides it would never last that long. i usually only make enough to use right away. the amounts are easily changed.

  4. This looks so good! We rarely eat anything with garlic but I could go easy on the garlic and it still would be good, right?

  7. We live in Houston and have been without power for 10 long days!!! Monday we got our electricity back...praise the Lord....but several of our neighbors did not. So I fixed a big casserole of chicken spaghetti, salad, and bread with this spread for two of the families without power. Everyone loved it all including the bread. I really liked it and will use this recipe often. Thanks.

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing this! It looks like it would go wonderful, with my Baked Spaghetti and a Salad on the side. I'm saving this one, and will hopefully be able to give feedback later.

    Thanks!
